Here are some initial (not final) statistics, which show the Israeli war crimes against humanity, during the current Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, based on the reliable data reported by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza:

By April 1, 2025, the initial death toll of Palestinians who have been killed by the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza Strip is 63,931+.   

This includes the accounted for deaths (50,399), those who are still missing under the rubble (an estimate of at least 13,532+). 

By April 1, 2025, the documented injuries exceeded 114,583.

By April 1, 2025, according to news report, 940 Palestinians who were killed, 6,932 who were injured, and 11,712*, who were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank, since October 7, 2023.

On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate.

"وَمَنْ يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَاؤُهُ جَهَنَّمُ خَالِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا" (النِّسَاءُ ، 4: 93).

"إِنْ أَحْسَنتُمْ أَحْسَنتُمْ لِأَنفُسِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَسَأْتُمْ فَلَهَا ۚ فَإِذَا جَاءَ وَعْدُ الْآخِرَةِ لِيَسُوءُوا وُجُوهَكُمْ وَلِيَدْخُلُوا الْمَسْجِدَ كَمَا دَخَلُوهُ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَلِيُتَبِّرُوا مَا عَلَوْا تَتْبِيراً ‎(الإسْرَاءُ ، 17: 7).

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

 After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

Gaza death toll reaches 50,399 since start of Israeli aggression in October 2023 - Medical sources

GAZA, March 10, 2025 (WAFA) -

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has reached 50,399, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 114,583 others have been injured.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that of the total casualties, 1,042 civilians have been killed and 2,542 have been injured since March 18, 2025, when the Israeli occupation regime forces resumed their aggression on the Gaza Strip following the ceasefire agreement.

The Ministry stated that 42 slain civilians and 183 injured individuals were brought to hospitals in Gaza during the past 24 hours.

This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews, due to the lack of the needed heavy equipment.

Gaza: Over 1,000 people martyred since Israel resumed its deadly attacks

The Israeli occupation army continued its genocidal air strikes and shelling on the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, the third day of the 'Eidul-Fitr holiday, killing and injuring a number of civilians.

According to Gaza’s health ministry, over 1,000 people, including at least 322 children, have been martyred since the Israeli army resumed its genocidal war on Gaza on March 18, 2025. 609 others were also injured during the same period.

Since the beginning of Eid al-Fitr, 85 civilians, mostly children and women, have been killed in Israeli strikes in different areas of Gaza.

Local media sources said that an Israeli warplane bombed the apartment of journalist Mu'hammed El-Bardaweel in Khan Younus, south of Gaza, killing him along with his wife and three children.

Bardawil worked as a broadcaster for the Voice of Al-Aqsa Mosque radio station.

'Hamas decries mass displacement of Rafa'h residents

The Palestinian Resistance Movement, 'Hamas, has described the forced evacuation of Rafa'h residents in southern Gaza by the Israeli occupation army, under the pressure of bombardment and massacres, as another “war crime” and a “serious escalation in the war on Gaza.”

“The forced evacuation of Rafa'h residents that is being carried out by the Zionist occupation army amidst relentless bombardment and massacres and the resultant displacement of tens of thousands of innocent people constitute a stark violation of international law and international humanitarian law. It is a full-fledged forced displacement and ethnic cleansing crime,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.

“This latest crime aims to deepen the suffering of our defenseless people and exacerbate the catastrophic humanitarian conditions they are enduring due to the genocide, siege, and starvation,” 'Hamas added.

The Movement appealed to the Arab and Islamic countries, the UN, and the international community to take immediate action and pressure the Israeli government to stop its ongoing crimes against the Palestinians in Gaza.

Three civilians were killed and several others were injured on Tuesday in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Shati refugee camp west of the city of Gaza.

Local sources reported that Israeli drones targeted a group of civilians in the camp, resulting in the killing of three civilians and the wounding of several others.

Four Palestinian civilians killed, others injured in Israeli airstrike in central Gaza

GAZA, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

Four Palestinian civilians were killed and others were injured on Tuesday by the Israeli genocidal air strikes on the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces targeted a house near the Dair El-Bala'h water treatment station, killing two civilians and injuring others.

Israeli forces struck a group of citizens north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp, resulting in the killing of one civilian and the wounding of several others.

Additionally, one civilian was killed in an Israeli artillery strike east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Since Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza on March 18, 2025 at least 1,042 civilians have been killed and 2,542 others have been wounded, mostly children and women.

An Israeli genocidal air strike kills journalist and his entire family in Khan Younus, south of the Gaza Strip

GAZA, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

A Palestinian journalist and his entire family were killed at dawn on Tuesday in an Israeli strike targeting their home in the city of Khan Younus in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to WAFA correspondent, an Israeli drone targeted the home of journalist Mu'hammed Sali'h El-Bardaweel in the Japanese neighborhood west of Khan Younus, resulting in his killing, along with his wife and three children.

Meanwhile, a medical source confirmed that a child succumbed to injuries sustained in an Israeli genocidal strike that targeted his family home in southern Gaza last Sunday.

Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire east of Gaza City and east of Jabalya in the northern part of the Strip. Three civilians were also injured in an Israeli artillery bombardment north of Al-Nusayrat refugee camp in central Gaza.

Since Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza on March 18, at least 1,001 civilians have been killed and 2,359 others have been wounded, mostly children and women.

This brings the overall death toll from Israel’s ongoing aggression on Gaza to 50,357 since October 7, 2023. At least 114,400 others have also been wounded.

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime forces issue evacuation orders for new areas in northern Gaza

GAZA, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

The Israeli occupation apartheid regime army issued new evacuation orders on Tuesday for citizens in large areas of northern Gaza.

An official statement from the Israeli army spokesperson warned citizens in northern Gaza to evacuate their homes and move to shelter centers. However, it is important to note that no shelter centers exist in Gaza.

The statement further warned all residents in the areas of Bait 'Hanoun, the Bait Lahya Project, Shaikh Zayid, Al-Manshiya neighborhood, and Tel Al-Za'tar, emphasizing that this is a final warning before the airstrike.

Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces

Four Palestinians injured in a settlers' attack on park-goers north of  Aree'ha (Jericho)

 Aree'ha (Jericho), April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

Four Palestinians were injured on Tuesday in an attack by the illegal Israeli settlers on park-goers at 'Ain Al-'Auja, north of Aree'ha (Jericho).

According to WAFA correspondent, colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked the citizens who were enjoying a visit to Ein al-Auja on the third day of 'Eidul-Fitr. The settlers sprayed them with pepper spray and physically assaulted others, resulting in injuries and burns of varying severity to four citizens.

The settler assailants also brought a herd of sheep with them and released them to graze in the area, in an effort to force the visitors to leave the site.

'Ain Al-'Auja has been subject to frequent attacks by colonists, who have established several colonial outposts in the surrounding area over the past few years, in an attempt to take control of the land and water resources of the area and prevent local Palestinians’ access.

Jineen and Toulkarm under continued aggression: Devastating impact on civilians and infrastructure

Jineen, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

Israeli occupation forces are continuing their onslaught on the city of Jineen and its refugee camp for the 71st consecutive day, with ongoing home demolitions, the burning of houses and the conversion of others into military outposts.

The onslaught has resulted in the killing of 34 Palestinians, along with dozens of injuries and detentions. The number of detentions in the Jenin governorate has also seen a noticeable increase.

The aggression has caused extensive destruction in Jineen, with estimates indicating that 600 homes and the entire infrastructure have been damaged.

The head of Jineen Municipality, Mu'hammed Jarrar, reported that the city is facing significant humanitarian challenges, with 21,000 displaced individuals. He described this as a new reality and an added challenge for the city.

Jarrar further highlighted the worsening poverty, with tens of thousands of people joining the ranks of the poor, many of whom have lost their jobs and businesses. Additionally, he pointed out the flight of capital from the city, worsening the already strained economic conditions.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces have intensified their aggression on the city of Toulkarm and its refugee camp for the 65th consecutive day, and for the 52nd consecutive day on the Nour Shams refugee camp. The occupation forces have been conducting military reinforcements and raids, forcibly displacing residents from their homes.

In Toulkarm refugee camp, Israeli forces forced residents of the Jabal Al-Sali'heen area to leave their homes late last night as part of an extensive military operation, which included widespread raids and searches of homes and residential buildings.

The ongoing aggression on Toulkarmm city and its camps has resulted in the killing of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens of others have been injured and detained.

The onslaught on Toulkarm has caused widespread destruction, with homes, shops and vehicles subjected to full and partial demolition, burning, vandalism, looting, and theft. In the Toulkarm and N'ur Shams refugee camps, 396 homes were completely destroyed, and 2,573 were partially damaged.

The Israeli occupation forces kidnapped eight Palestinians, including two children, during early morning raids on Tuesday across the West Bank.

Seven of the detainees were from the villages of Dair Al-'Hatab and Yatma in the Nablus governorate. Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods in these villages, raiding homes, ransacking their contents, and detaining seven Palestinians, including two children. the

In a separate incident, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man from the city of Bait Sa'hour, east of Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), after raiding and searching his family home.

The Israeli occupation forces demolish structures in Abu Dees, East of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem)

Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), April 1, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished on Tuesday a horse stable and several structures in the town of Abu Dees, east of Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), citing the lack of Israeli-issued building permits.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the demolitions affected various facilities that served as sources of livelihood for dozens of families. The operation took place during an incursion into the Abu Hindi area east of Abu Dees.

Among the demolished structures was a horse stable, which spanned five dunums and housed over thirty horses, along with several sheds and a fence. The stable provided for three families.

Additionally, a demolition notice was issued against a vehicle wash facility in Abu Hindi, giving the owner 48 hours to demolish it himself or face forced demolition by Israeli forces along with hefty fines.

WHO condemns Israeli killing of 8 Red Crescent workers in Rafa'h, south of the Gaza Strip

GENEVA, April 1, 2024 (WAFA) -

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said the deadly attack against eight Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) ambulance workers in Gaza while on duty is deplorable.

“WHO is gravely concerned about the well-being of ambulance worker As'ad Al-Nasasra, who is still missing,” he said in a post on X.

“Under International Humanitarian Law, health workers must be protected at all times,” he emphasized.

He mourned the killing of these colleagues and urged an immediate end to attacks on health and humanitarian workers.

“Resume the ceasefire.”

ICHR condemns killing of Palestinian citizen 'Uday Al-Ruba'ee in Gaza, calls for urgent investigation into incident

RAMALLAH, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) -

The Independent Commission for Human Rights(ICHR) condemned the killing of 22-year-old 'Uday Al-Ruba'ee, from Gaza City, and considered the incident a grave violation of the right to life and an extrajudicial killing.

According to the ICHR’s information, Al-Rubaee was abducted on the evening of Friday, March 28, 2025, at approximately 8:30 PM, from his displacement shelter at the Tel Al-Hawa Boys' Preparatory School by an armed group.

According to a statement issued by the victim’s family, they discovered his location after conducting searches and inquiries. About six hours later, they received information that he was at Al-Quds Hospital. Upon arrival to receive him, they found him in critical condition, necessitating his transfer to Al-Shifa Medical Complex. The family stated that he bore severe signs of torture, was restrained by his neck and hands, and suffered from deep wounds, multiple burns, internal bleeding, severe neurological and circulatory shock, a ruptured heart nerve, and fractures in the skull, pelvis, and back.

“The ICHR views this crime as part of the deteriorating security chaos, the proliferation of weapons, and the absence of the rule of law in Gaza, posing a serious threat to public rights and freedoms,” it said in a statement.

Accordingly, the ICHR demanded the following:

An immediate and independent investigation into the killing of Uday Al-Rubaee, disclosure of the perpetrators' identities, and their prosecution under the law and ensure bringing them to justice. An end to extrajudicial assaults on citizens and strict adherence to Palestinian law and international human rights standards. Restricting law enforcement measures to legally authorized entities and ensuring that arrests and judicial procedures comply with legal standards. Implementing lawful measures to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.

UNICEF: At least 322 children reportedly killed in the Gaza Strip following the breakdown of ceasefire

NEW YORK, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) –

The breakdown of the ceasefire and the resumption of intense bombardments and ground operations in the Gaza Strip have reportedly resulted in at least 322 children being killed and 609 others injured. This represents a daily average of around 100 children killed or maimed over the past 10 days, according to a statement by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

Most of these children were displaced and were sheltering in makeshift tents or damaged homes. The figures also include children who were reportedly killed or injured when the surgical department of Al Nasser Hospital in southern Gaza was struck in an attack on March 23, the statement clarified.

“The resurgence of relentless and indiscriminate bombardments, combined with the complete block on supplies entering the Gaza Strip for more than three weeks, has put the humanitarian response under severe strain and Gaza’s civilians – especially its one million children – at grave risk,” the statement read.

“The ceasefire in Gaza provided a desperately needed lifeline for Gaza’s children and hope for a path to recovery,” said UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell. “But children have again been plunged into a cycle of deadly violence and deprivation. All parties must adhere to their obligations under international humanitarian law to protect children.” 

After nearly 18 months of war, more than 15,000 children have reportedly been killed, over 34,000 have been injured, and nearly one million children have been repeatedly displaced and deprived of their right to basic services, UNICEF reported.

“With no aid allowed into the Gaza Strip since March 2—representing the longest period of aid blockage since the start of the war—food, safe water, shelter, and medical care have become increasingly scarce. Without these essential supplies, malnutrition, diseases, and other preventable conditions will likely surge, leading to an increase in preventable child deaths,” the statement noted.

The statement further emphasized: “Humanitarian organizations are working tirelessly to protect and support children under these horrific conditions but continue to face attacks that have killed and injured hundreds of aid workers. These attacks are in violation of international humanitarian law and jeopardize the continuity of critical, life-saving operations for those in desperate need. Despite the ongoing risks, UNICEF is committed to continuing to provide the humanitarian support children and their families depend on for survival and protection.”

“UNICEF continues to call on parties to cease hostilities and reinstate the ceasefire. Humanitarian aid and commercial goods must be allowed to enter and be transported across the Gaza Strip. Sick and injured children must be evacuated for medical care. Civilians, including children and humanitarian workers, and the remaining essential infrastructure must be protected.”

UNICEF also urged states with influence to use their leverage to stop the conflict and ensure respect for international law, including that children are protected. “The world must not stand by and allow the killing and suffering of children to continue.’

UNRWA Commissioner-General condemns killing of aid workers in Gaza, calls for accountability

NEW YORK, April 1, 2025 (WAFA) - UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini expressed devastation over the confirmed killing of two additional UNRWA staff members and eight Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) aid workers and first responders.

“This brings the death toll of aid workers to 408, including more than 280 UNRWA staff, since the war began a year and a half ago,” Lazzarini stated in a post on X.

He revealed that the body of a UNRWA staff member killed in Rafa'h was recovered yesterday, along with the remains of the PRCS aid workers, all of whom had been discarded in shallow graves. “A profound violation of human dignity,” he described.

Lazzarini underscored the urgent need for civilian protection, saying, “Whether on the front lines or in their homes with their families, civilians must be protected at all times.”

He further warned that the systematic killing of aid workers in Gaza was becoming routine, stressing, “This cannot become the new norm. There must be accountability. International humanitarian law applies to all, without exception.”

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
